Shelev will illuminate the tip of one of their longest tentacles to lure prey into the water so it can be dragged down into the water to be devoured.
Monster Core Size and Appearance
Fist sized cores that emit the same bluish-white glow as the creature.

The Shelev are nocturnal hunters of the deep water of Lake Kea, reaching twenty to thirty metres in length. They are the substance behind the rumours that circulate about the lake across several nations.

They take people from the shoreline. That is not a story: it is the documented reason this page exists, and the reason locals do not walk the bank of Lake Kea after dark.
