Wayfinders

Divinity
Elvitri
Adherents
Explorers, sailors and, by reputation, pirates
Region
Alvania, southern Nashriam, and the coasts
Doctrine
The unknown is precious, the new is worth celebrating, exploration is sacred
Prayer
The Finders light stanza

The Wayfinders celebrate exploration and the understanding of what is not yet known. Travel is essential to the faith; the manner of it is not, though a great many believers go by sea.

That link to sail and coast makes Wayfinding common in Alvania, southern Nashriam and along the coastline generally, and has earned it a reputation as the pirates' religion. The reputation understates it. The faith asks only that the exploratory spirit is genuine, and on that basis it will take anyone.

Its prayer is a four-line stanza, widely heard and widely mistaken for a nursery rhyme:

Finders light, true and bright Shine upon my path tonight Reaching towards the truest height Elvitri bless my trails tonight
