Welcome to Aropria

Aropria is the continent these pages record. The Fourth Epoch is the era they record it in — the age going on now, as far as anybody alive knows.

Everything here is written as a record kept by people inside the world rather than as a guide to it. Where a page carries an account in somebody's own voice, it is set apart and signed, because a chronicler with an opinion is not the same thing as a fact. Some of them are wrong, and some of them disagree with each other on purpose.

The index below is the whole of the chronicle. Start anywhere — the peoples of the continent, the nations that argue over it, or congruence, which is the reason anything here works the way it does.

Where this is going

A weekly game is being built on top of this wiki. It is set in Hope's Reach, a two-year-old charter town on the north-east frontier of Karg, and it asks you for one decision a week. You will be a citizen of that town, and what the town becomes will be the sum of what its citizens decided.

A fuller introduction is being written, and it is waiting on purpose: the parts of the game that a newcomer most needs explained are the parts still being built. Until then these few paragraphs and the index below are the honest version.
